The new N82 and N92 models now available in Valtra's N Series are perfect for the dairy or livestock farmer. Whether feeding stock, baling hay or simply transporting gear around the farm the N82 and N92 are dynamic operators with enough power to get the job done.
The compact 88hp N82 and 101hp N92 features increased visibility and agility due to a shortening of the nose and a wheelbase only 30mm less than the series higher horsepower models. The N82 and N92 are also approximately 200 kilograms lighter than the bigger N Series models.
"Most of the weight has been removed from the front axle, which combined with increased visibility and efficient hydraulics makes the N82 and N92 ideal for front-loader work," said Valtra Product Manager David Rutherford.
Operator comfort is also not forgotten on the N82 and N92 with a spacious cab characteristic of quality Nordic design.
Offered as a HiTech spec, the N82 and N92 feature as standard a hydraulic forward-reverse shuttle, three-step programmable Powershift transmission and HiShift button clutch.
Forward-reverse shuttle
Valtra's forward reverse shuttle allows the driving direction to be changed without the driver having to use the floor clutch and regardless of load. While the automatic shuttle handles the entire process for changing directions, the driver can focus at the same time on other operations. The transition is always smooth and fast, and easy on the driver. The shuttle lever also controls the handbrake.
Powershift transmission
Valtra's powershift transmission offers two simple to use automatic programmes that have been designed to help drivers make the most of their tractor's transmission while allowing them to focus more on their work. Using the automatic programmes also helps keep drivers alert.
